Closing new collaborations, comprehensive product proposals and an original attractive presence contributed to the participation of MEVGAL in SIAL 2016, one of the largest international food fairs in Paris.
During the exhibition, substantial discussions took place, both with representatives of large trading houses representatives and retailers, and laid the foundations for expanding the export activity of the company, mainly to the countries of the Middle East, Israel, Benelux and Romania, as well as expanding its presence in America and Australia. At the same time, co-operation that has begun in Korea, where authentic MEVGAL yoghurt has been exported for a few months, has been sealed.
The company presented to the international audience original ideas in the categories of yoghurt and dairy, which perfectly meet the latest trends for a balanced diet with delicious and healthy value-added products.
Its stand was a pole of attraction for hundreds of visitors, as the interest was not only business but also gastronomic. In its impressive cuisine, guests have had the opportunity to learn new ideas for using traditional MEVGAL cheeses in cooking, but also to create their own delightful combinations with Greek yogurt and toppings of their choice.
Exports of MEVGAL started gradually in 1985 and now account for 35% of its total turnover, and according to the targets set; it is expected to increase significantly in the coming years.
